Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Artifice Arcane, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Artifice Arcane is operated by Skeyex Forge.

Service Description

Artifice Arcane is an AI-powered web application that generates structured, balanced magic items for Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition. The service includes free and paid subscription tiers with varying feature access and usage limits.

Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

Subscriptions and Billing

Artifice Arcane offers a free tier and a paid Pro subscription. Pro subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Stripe customer portal, accessible from the Upgrade page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with reasonable notice. Price changes will not apply to your current billing period.

AI-Generated Content

Items generated by Artifice Arcane are created by artificial intelligence and are provided as-is. We make no guarantees regarding the mechanical balance, accuracy, or suitability of generated content for any particular game or campaign. You assume full responsibility for how you use generated items in your games.

Generated content may occasionally resemble existing published material. Our system prompts instruct the AI to produce original content, but we cannot guarantee absolute uniqueness. You are responsible for reviewing generated items before use.

Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the magic items you generate using Artifice Arcane. You may use, modify, and share your generated items freely.

Skeyex Forge retains all rights to the Artifice Arcane platform, including its code, design, branding, and underlying technology. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute the platform itself.

Dungeons & Dragons Disclaimer

Artifice Arcane is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Wizards of the Coast, Hasbro, or any official Dungeons & Dragons entity. "Dungeons & Dragons" and "D&D" are trademarks of Wizards of the Coast LLC. Artifice Arcane is an independent fan-made tool for personal and tabletop use.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the service or generate items in bulk.
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits, authentication, or billing controls.
• Resell or commercially redistribute generated items as a competing service.
• Use the service to generate content that is illegal, harmful, or violates the rights of others.
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure.

Limitation of Liability

Artifice Arcane is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Skeyex Forge shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of data or interruption of service.

Our total liability for any claim related to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or engage in abusive behavior. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
