Balance considerations: The Ancestral Warmth aura (1d6 per turn to nearby allies while raging) is the most powerful ongoing effect, average 3.5 HP per turn to potentially multiple allies is significant at levels 10-12 but appropriate for Very Rare. Be aware that a Barbarian with a support-minded player will deliberately position near injured allies each turn, which is exactly the intended play pattern and should be encouraged rather than restricted. Hearthfire Resilience's temporary HP rider on fire damage is a secondary benefit and depends on enemies using fire, so it may rarely trigger, this keeps the overall power envelope reasonable. Blaze of the Old Blood (4d8 healing in a 20-ft burst, once per day on rage entry) is strong but limited to once daily and costs no action beyond raging, which means it functions as a powerful 'raid opener' effect. Average 18 HP to potentially the whole party is notable but not game-breaking at this tier. The flavor-only Soot-Scribbled Studs property adds no combat power and gives the DM a small hook for placing warm shelter or fire sources in the environment as meaningful discoveries. If the table runs few fire-damage encounters, consider having occasional environmental fire sources to let Hearthfire Resilience trigger organically.
